Start by getting everyone in the group to stand in a circle facing inwards.
Then pick one person and send them out of the room. Whilst they are out of the room, appoint a 'leader'.
This person is the one who (in a minute) will lead the room in various movements (eg stamping feet, spinning, standing on one foot, dancing, singing, etc). Everyone else in the circle must mimic the leader, without giving away who the leader is.
Bring the person back into the room, and commence the game. It's quite funny watching everyone mimic the leader (especially if they pull some crazy manoeuvres :)
The aim of the game is the for person who was sent out of the room to guess who the leader is. They get three chances to guess it right.
The leader then becomes the 'guesser' and the game continues!

Our group of mostly 12-15 yr olds loved this one! We had a medium sized group, of about 16 or so kids. We played several rounds, as everyone wanted to be "it" or the "leader"!I've always heard the game called "Find the Leader" though--but it's still the exact same rules! Quite a lot of fun, just make sure you have space large enough for your group--if the circle is too squished together, then "It" isn't far enough away from the Leader and it's easier to guess who he/she is. ^.^

I added the stimulation that the movement had to change every 15 seconds. This kept the leader from just doing one move. Also, the leader had to plan to change their movement when the guesser shouldn't be looking. LOTS of Laughs!

So, EITHER WAY the "leader" becomes "it"?
