Human Hungry Hippo

4 shiney stars

Most people have heard of the game Hungry Hippos, this game involves substituting the hippos for humans!

For this game you need laundry baskets and about 50 plastic balls.

Split into teams of three, each team spaced evenly around a circle (about 2-3m from the centre).

Place the balls in the middle of the circle.

Give one team member a laundry basket and have them lie down on their stomach, holding the basket out in front of them.

The other team member grabs that person by the legs and when the game starts, 'slides' them into the middle of the circle. The person with the basket lifts the basket and tries to grab and drag as many balls as they can back to their third team member.

The winner is the team which ends up with the most balls!

Best to use some sort of dolly or cart on which each of the "hippos" may lie so as not to get a rash of sorts on their stomach while moving back and forth to retrieve the plastic balls in the center.
