True or False | ![]() |
This game is perfect for large groups.
Start by asking everyone to stand up.
You then ask the group a "True or False" question. Everyone has to answer true or false by putting their hands on their heads if they think the answer is true, or their hands on their bum if they think it is false.
For example, a question (or statement) might be "You can see the Great Wall of China from the Moon"
Give people 5-10 seconds to decide and put their hands in the appropriate spot! You then reveal the answer - everyone who guessed wrong sits down, everyone who got it right remains standing.
Continue until you get down to 3 or 4 people then get them up the front for the final few questions. Sometimes you may need to get them to face opposite directions so they can't see what each other is answering (or get clues from the audience)
Obviously the last person standing is the winner!
(and by the way, no you cannot see the Great Wall of China from the moon!)
Stumble it!

maybe not on the bum, though. It might be better for True to do arm up, False as arm down.- Absta (30 May 2009)
This game worked really well with our groups. We twisted it a bit in that everyone took a turn to say a true/false statement or question about themselves and the rest of the group had to guess the correct answer. Even the ones who got out in a previous round still got to ask a question when it got to their turn..this was good in giving everyone a fair chance to participate and was great to see how well we knew each other :)

Our youth group does it where we flip a coin twice. The teens put a hand on their head and their bum if they guess that it will be a heads and a tails or both hands on either if that is what they guess. We call it I Declare.
