Form pairs. Have pairs sit on the floor and talk to each other by speaking one-word messages back and forth. Suggest one of the following topics for their one-word-at-a-time discussions:
- A recently solved problem.
- a favourite food.
- a favourite professional sports team.
- a fear.
- a dream, or
- a recent accomplishment.
Allow time for discussion. Then ask, 'What does this activity tell you about communication? How did you communicate without words? Read John 1:1-9. How did God communicate to us through Jesus Christ?

i really like the idea of this game. it gets thekids communication skills up with the other kids and also gets them to read their bible and learn through actions which is the best way for younger kids to learn. :)- Marie (12 May 2011)
