Marshmallow Tower

For this game, you need packet(s) of marshmallows and packet(s) of spaghetti.

Split the group into two or more teams.  Generally between 4-8 is the ideal team size.  The goal is to see which group builds the highest tower using only the items provided. The towers must be stable.

It is fun but covers many competencies i.e. team work, communication, problem solving, leadership. It allows participants to use negotiating skills and improve their general communication...they also learn the benefit of planning.

              This game is so eductational and has so many competencies such as culture,team work, relationships, accepting critisim in a positive way, brain storming and much more. We do this game in my Career/Financial Management Class.

              It is easier with the large marshmallows, the little ones didn't hold anything in place and the spaghetti was too heavy for them. But with large marshmallows and spaghetti it was great!

              instead of Spaghetti you can use toothpicks

              We played this game and the kids loved it. We split into guys and girls and, well, of course the girls won :)

              Good 20 min game. Use the larger marshmallows. One spaghetti pack can be divided between two teams. Definitely some clean up after if boys end up throwing marshmallows :) Fun game though!
